When showing my parents slides from my backpacking trip back in college, my Dad shared one of the few war stories I remember from him (other than the fun they had in the English pubs). When a picture of this Cathedral was on the screen he recalled flying his B-24 around the towers "so close it seemed like (he) could reach out and touch them".
